Factory Chime Records Releasees its First Album
Fall 2004
Lance Leonnig from Factory Chime Records releases "To Make The Wheel Rounder."
Factory Chime Records has put out its first album. I ordered mine a few weeks ago and was thoroughly impressed with the music. I have known Lance for most of my life and have had the pleasure of occasionally playing with him. He is a ridiculously good guitar player who oozes raw talent. He put the entire album together himself, playing all the instruments, recording, mixing and editing the thing. It is more than evident when you listen the detail he put into the editing as this album sounds like it came out of a studio rather than his basement with a macintosh.
If you like good, subtle guitar work, this album is for you. It is has a crisp, clean sound coming from his 1950's Gibson accoustic (soooo jealous) and the rest of the music derives from the soul and not from the music factory spitting out formulaic music trying to squeeze out more money than pleasure. This album spits hot lead.
Rock on, Lance!
